Established in the 1930’s by John M. Troup, the company became a family affair when John’s son Robert B. Troup came on board in the 1950’s. In the mid 80’s, grandson Robert Troup Jr. took the helm, and has successfully steered the company through the landscape of an everchanging industry, introducing new products to market and building an impressive reputation along the way. Three generations of commitment and knowledge builds an industry leader, along with perseverance and a genuine appreciation for craftmanship. This is evidenced in the numerous awards and accolades received over the years as well as many landmark projects, such as Casino Windsor, University of Windsor, St. Clair College, Windsor’s City Hall, WFCU sports facility, St. Clair Center for the Arts (formerly Cleary Auditorium).
